Your text to us is charged at your usual sending rate. Our reply to you is charged at 25p. When the system is unable to provide valid information, reply text messages to your phone are free.
Star text is a subsystem of the star trak system. Star text is operated and maintained by Leicester City Council, on behalf of its partners in the star trak system: Leicestershire County Council, Arriva Midlands, First, Kinchbus and Trentbarton ("the Partners")

Leicester City Council and its Partners are providing star text on an "as is" basis and make no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to the Service or its contents and disclaims all such representations and warranties.
Leicester City Council and its Partners cannot assume responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user data, communications or personalization settings.
In addition, Leicester City Council and its Partners make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose of the information, content, or advertisements (collectively, the "Materials") distributed through the Service or as to the results to be obtained from using the service.

Messages sent to star text are charged at your usual text message rate. If your tariff includes free text messages, then messages to star text will be free.
